Updates and Progress on our Thriller - Hurtwood

Throughout the christmas period I have been having slight doubts about how effective our Thriller was going to be. There are many idea's that have come and gone over time and I realised that the fact that I have been coming up with different ideas subconsciously surely means that I am not comfortable with our idea.

Similarly, when we have been discussing our idea within our team I haven't felt like anyone has been very enthused or inspired by our idea as a whole in comparison with our very originally first idea's. So after discussing my concerns with some other members we've agreed that we need to make a change. Fast.

Myself and Georgina discovered a video through a friend that reminded us of our initial idea of making the thriller 'As Simple as Possible' to create a chilling element. Whereas before we changed to focusing on MES created around the school we've decided that with the time we have and the date we've been given (a school day, where it would almost be impossible to create a deserted feel) this would be near to impossible.

After hunting around the internet for some possible locations I came across a location which is near to perfect! It's nearby to the school, so well in distance to reach. The condition its been described in as being, is 'derelict' and 'ruined' which is exactly what we envisioned. This element would be a further representation of how long our story of an epidemic has been happening for.

  3. How did your thriller worked out? I must add that aside from locationworks, you can also find film locations at Lights on Location where you can find different properties that you can use for your films. Try visiting their site, maybe you could look for filming locations there that you can use for your future movies. Good luck to you!
